Cynthia DeRoche, RMT
Cynthia has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO) since 2003. She graduated from Algonquin College with honours where she had the benefit of learning from some of the leading massage therapists in the profession. The three year program gave her the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and ethical care.
Cynthia treats many conditions such as postural dysfunction, low back pain, jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction, headaches, chronic pain, sports injuries, pre- and post-pregnancy discomfort and pain, nerve entrapment injuries, stress, and many more. Her individualized approach recognizes that every client is unique and requires a treatment that meets and adapts to their needs. She augments the massage therapy treatment with education on self-care such as postural awareness, stretching, strengthening, hydrotherapy and remedial exercises to help you reach your health care goals.
Post-graduate training includes Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), level 1 and 2, Myofascial Release, TMJ Dysfunction, Low Back Pain Rehabilitation with Dr. Stuart McGill, and others.
