In March, the Ontario government removed masking requirements for many indoor settings, however, this does not include health-care settings. Regulated health care professions, such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists will continue to require wearing of masks and practice in accordance with current Covid-19 guidance, including PPE and active screening. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario is continuing to review protocols in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, and will continue to post up-to-date guidance for practitioners as we monitor the COVID-19 situation.
What this means for you is that you are required to wear a mask and to complete the Covid-19 screening that is emailed 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please do not come to the clinic if you do not pass the screening.
Please note that all possible precautions are being taken to ensure your safety. Massage Remedy follows all cleaning and sanitization protocols required by our governing college and the Ontario Ministry of Health. Despite these safety protocols, the risk of transmission can not be completely negated. Therefore, you are encouraged to assess the risk of exposure against the benefits of treatment when deciding if this is the right time to receive care.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to providing your continued care.

It’s been almost 2 years since the last rate increase, and costs have skyrocketed since then. I’m sure you’ve all noticed that things are getting more expensive and it’s no different at the clinic. Because of this, I’ve made the difficult choice to increase the rates as follows:
30 minutes: $64
45 mintues: $81
60 minutes: $100
90 minutes: $140
Cancellation Fee: When less than 24 hours’ notice is given, $64 for appointments of 60 minutes or less, $100 for appointments longer than one hour. If no notice is given, the full cost of the treatment will be charged.
I look forward to continuing to provide excellence in massage therapy.
In health, Cynthia
